Families deserve a lawyer who listens, understands, and shows up for them both legally and emotionally. Samantha Birsen founded Mabel Law Group on a simple principle: high-quality legal representation should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford high hourly fees.
Samantha was born and raised in upstate New York before attending Syracuse University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. After graduation, she moved to Las Vegas to pursue her dream of managing restaurants on the Strip, working at Bellagio, MGM Grand, and ARIA.
Her life changed in 2017, when she survived the Route 91 Harvest Festival mass shooting. The experience reshaped her perspective and sparked a deep calling to help others. Determined to make the most of her second chance at life, she chose to pursue a career in law.
In 2019, Samantha began studying at the Dale E. Fowler School of Law at Chapman University. She graduated with her Juris Doctor in 2022 and passed the Nevada Bar that same year.
Throughout law school and beyond, Samantha gained extensive experience working in family law firms, yet she quickly felt uncomfortable with the cost of representation many firms required. She found herself laying awake up at night worrying about how clients would afford the help they needed. This conviction eventually led her to build something different.
When she’s not helping clients, Samantha enjoys spending time with her fiancée and friends, cooking, cruising, all-you-can-eat sushi, doing her own nails, and anything pink. (She is also known to occasionally go to the gym, though she insists it’s not her favorite activity.)
